The buyer has the opportunity to ask about the item offered
for sale, and can rest assured in the knowledge that the site
is monitored by experienced personnel who ensure that any item
which is not genuine will be removed and the offender's membership
terminated.
The site is not an auction site. The prospective buyer makes
an offer that can be accepted or declined by the seller, until
the listed price is achieved. The seller places a value on the

Colin
Palmer started taking an interest in the history of the
game during the 1980's, when he started collecting vintage artefacts
such as hickory shafted clubs, antique golf balls and books.
This interest eventually lead him to a position of running the
golfing memorabilia department for Phillips (now Bonhams) auctioneers,
in 1999. This role involved the appraisal of many important
public and private collections, both in the UK and abroad, including
the collections at Royal Troon Golf Club and Royal Lytham &
St.Annes Golf Club. Currently member of The British Golf Collectors
Society and The American Golf Collectors Society. He is now
happy to pass on his experience and expertise in several roles
within the sphere of golfing memorabilia. Services include advice

"Golf pictures and collecting them has been a past time
for Ron Watts (part owner of the largest retailer of Golf
Equipment in the world, Edwin Watts Golf Shops) his whole
life. Now his collection is available to the public.
Historic Golf Photos is a collection of copyrighted photographs
assembled by Ron Watts over his life time. It commemorates
golf legends from the turn of the century to the present day.
This collection is the culmination of the LIFE work of nine
photographers. Many of the images come from the work of Frank
Christian and include work from four generations of the Christian
family, the official club photographers for Augusta National
and the Masters.
These few photographs represent only a small portion of the
history contained in the Ron Watts Collection. In all this
collection includes over 500,000 images including St Andrews
pictures & Pebble Beach golf course pictures."
