May Hezlet (Mrs M.E.L. Ross] : Ladies Golf Published London: Hutchinson 1904 336p, illustrated, decorative cloth. {D&M 20870}. There was a 2nd Edn issued 1907 that has an additional chapter Ladies Golf 1904-1907 (pgs 337-352) but is the same in nearly all characteristics as the first. A reprint of the 1907 has been published in black leather cover although in a very small quantity {ISBN 0722219075}.

2. GHecker.sml.jpg (1540 bytes) Genevieve Hecker : Golf for Women 1904 This is off significance to an Irish Collector because of its contribution from Rhona Adair. The game of golf presented to the "feminine inquiring mind and from a woman's viewpoint." A first edition will fetch around $1,000 at auction because it was the first golf book published in America purely for women. Fortunately a reprint is available at much more affordable price $22.95 from Legacy Golf

Thomas Glover : [British] Ladies Open Golf Championship May 1902. The venue was deal and May Hezlet the Portrush player took her 2nd title. This book is extremely rare as it was only given to competitors and dignatories who attended the championship that year.
