Alexander (Alex) Robertson (Royal County Down 1906/7-1932)

Married Marion c. 1908 an English lady who had at the time one daughter Margaret. Religion - Free Church of Scotland. Profession - Golf Professional. They lived at Number 9 Murlough Upper, Newcastle, County Down. [Source: Census 1911]

A renowned club maker and a founding member of the Irish Professional Golfers' Association (June 1911) ("IPGA") and appointed as one of the four professionals (Tom Hood, James McKenna and John Aitken) to take part in a joint committee for the purpose of drafting its constitution and the framework for a benevolent fund.
